"Prison Of My Own" is the book God made possible. Out of the rubble of my family's tragedy, such amazing things are happening. Even though John is in prison and our family isn't able to be together, we are sharing our story worldwide. Magazines, radio and The Montel Williams Show have all featured our testimony of the miracles in forgiving. So many have written to us, thanking us for giving them the strength to forgive someone in their own life. To think that God is using what we went through to make a difference in someone else's heart is truly a blessing. His plan is greater than I could have ever imagined!

I've always loved to write. It wasn't until my husband surprised me with a computer one Christmas morning over 12 years ago that I actually thought about doing anything with it. He told me I had talent and not to waste it. To "go for it!" I remember dashing off to the library to get a book on professional writing and I've been hooked ever since! I now have over 100 articles and stories in print with True Confessions, True Story, Modern Romances, Guideposts For Teens, Whispers From Heaven and TWIST magazines. After over a decade of writing short stories, I began to dream of writing a book. Little did I know that my dream would one day come true....but, it would be bittersweet.
